Oliver is a snarky rich boy and the banter between them is golden. The best thing to come out of this book is the bromance between Saoirse and Oliver. I really enjoyed her character arc and her growth. I felt all of her pain, and I know a thing or two about writing friends off and feeling like the world is against you.

The slang was hard to understand at times, and I had to Google a few things, but I still enjoyed it. I often forgot that I was actually reading, it was that good. The writing was really clear and easy to follow. There are also many heartbreaking and touching moments, making me feel all of the feels. The story contains many rom-com tropes and all of them were hilarious and expertly done. I laughed out loud on multiple occasions and just found myself enjoying this book fully. This is just a story about two girls falling in love.Īnd it is funny. And while those stories are extremely important, it’s also important to read stories about joy. This is not a coming-out story, or a story dealing with hate towards the LGBTQ+ community. It warms my heart to read stories about LGBTQ+ joy.
